This lady booked into the clinic, blind from thyroid eye disease and using a cane. I undertook an urgent orbital decompression, and radiotherapy.
The path to correction takes about 18 months, as happened with this patient.
She now has 20/20 vision and can return to her work in the visual arts. And I think she donated the cane to someone else who needed it.
